Here are last year's resolutions.
*******
Jan 2, 2010
They say if you write down your resolutions you're more likely to do them. Here we go in no particular order:

1. Start graduate school this summer.
2. Lose that pesky 30 pounds. This means:
a. Exercising
b. Eating better
c. Giving up pop

3. Organize the basement.
4. Understand some of the Web 2.0 things like Twitter, Wave, Ning
5. Save money and put some extra on the house payment. Even $50/month would be helpful.

Accomplished so far:
2c- Have been pop-free for 1 full year. No crack cocaine, aka Mt. Dew! It helped to lose 8-10 pounds this year. However, I blew that during fall 2010 finals week... A whole year's work lost in one week.

3-Basement is mostly organized- Due to Perry. But it's done.

4-I use Twitter. However, I don't know how I could use this more than my current LMS, Moodle, to get students to collaborate. Eh. Wave bit the dust; I never did figure it out anyway. Ning went to pay-only so I won't use that any more.

5- Have been able to save a lot more money this year and put at least $50 on each house payment. Every little bit helps with a 30 year mortgage.

Goals Still to go and renew for the new year.........

1. Start graduate school this summer. Summer of 2011. For sure. For real. Big time. Yes. As of right now, not sure of which direction to go, though, since the music minor came back. I need to know what I'm going to be guaranteed before I do anything with grad school.
-PhD in Ed- Music emphasis? Science emphasis?
-ESSP is interesting, too. Hmmmmmmmm too many interests, too little time.

2. Lose that pesky 30 pounds. This means:
a. Exercising
b. Eating better
Soooooooooooo. ... 3o lbs. maybe not realistic. But 20 definitely is. I'd like my weight to match my age. 148 at 48. Realistic.

New goals.....
1. Read a book for pleasure. I haven't done this in forever. Should start with the Bible. Wait, that's not pleasure. It's necessity.

2. Pay attention to the little things. yep.

3. Less procrastinating.

Next post.....the 26 things to do to be a better person.
